Pro Tip: Your energy is your business card. ✨ It’s the first thing people notice about you, although it’s often unconscious. You walk into a room and you influence those in it with your attitude and intentions. ⁣

There’s a quote by Maya Angelou that goes, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” 🙏🏼 Whether you’re leading a yoga class, networking in your business industry, or just going out to dinner with friends, your vibe can set the tone for how it all goes. Show up with confidence, warmth, and authenticity, and watch how effortlessly the right opportunities (and clients!) flow your way.⁣

I always try to work with my yoga students as if they were family, with my full love, attention, and understanding. I make sure that every time I show up to teach, I put them first and bring as much joy to the class as possible. I’m not perfect, but it’s the intention that’s critical. I want to be the best part of their day! And I think it’s helped me and Mind Body Badass grow into the success we are now. 🧘🏻‍♀️⁣

▪️ Every Saturday: Donation All Levels Yoga at the Point Loma Marina (pictured) ✨ 9:00-10:00 am⁣
We currently have a rotating schedule of instructors, so you get to enjoy all the best teachers in town. This class is open to all and is hosted on the lawn at @jimmys_famous. Class registration is appreciated but not required! Pay what you can to the teacher of the week. 🙏🏼 I’ve had to postpone when I’ll be back to guest teach due to an influx of private bookings in Palm Springs, but check the schedule/our IG regularly to see when I’ll be back!⁣

▪️ Thursday March 27: Yoga at the Japanese Friendship Garden ✨ 9:00-10:00 am⁣
Flow among the cherry blossom bloom in this must-do event where I’m guest teaching!! Seriously, this is such a special experience because you get early access to the JFG in Balboa Park before it opens to the public (perfect for photo ops) and practice on the Koi Pond Deck. I only sub this class once in a while, but trust me that cherry blossom season is just extra incredible. Registration is through the @jfgmsandiego. 🌸⁣

▪️ Friday April 4: Yoga Teacher Support Meetup Group at Kate Sessions Park ✨ 2:00-4:00 pm⁣
Fellow yoga teachers, join us for a free hangout in the park to connect, network, and support each other. Fill up your own cup and share stories, advice, and hugs with other teachers.⁣

▪️ Wednesday April 16: Donation Sunset Slow Flow at the Point Loma Marina ✨ 6:00-7:00 pm⁣
Join me for a one-time sunset flow at @jimmys_famous in April! I know you all loved this weekly class last year, so I’m excited to see you then to re-experience the magic while I’m in town. Reservations are already going fast and donations will be accepted at the event.⁣

Miss doing yoga at Sunset Cliffs? We may be one step closer after today’s hearing at the Ninth Circuit in our ongoing case of Yoga Teachers vs The City of San Diego! 🧑‍⚖️⁣
⁣
We are hopeful this will lead to the city finally granting yoga teachers access to permits to teach at shoreline parks. We are still waiting on the final ruling, but you can watch the whole hearing over at @sunsetcliffsyogasd. Big shoutout to our lawyer @animalawyer and @namasteveyoga.⁣
