This is Desert Reset — a full-body, full-soul experience curated by Mind Body Badass founder Amy Baack and hosted at her private home studio in La Quinta, California. Surrounded by mountain views, sunshine, and total good vibes, you’ll flow, breathe, connect, laugh, reflect, and leave feeling like the most badass version of yourself!

This is the perfect experience for Palm Springs / Coachella Valley local residents, gals wanting a recharging weekend getaway from nearby San Diego and Los Angeles (just a 2 hour drive away!), or anyone traveling to the desert valley from around the world. I’m excited to meet you!

We’ll be gathering at my private residence in the gorgeous La Quinta neighborhood. The house features a spacious outdoor patio deck, pool, jacuzzi, aerial yoga rig, and indoor yoga studio space. We’re tucked away from street noise and surrounded by butterflies and hummingbirds (and even some ducks!). There is plentiful free street parking for all guests. You’ll feel the magic as soon as you enter Casa Monarca! ✨

This is a women-only retreat designed to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for all to connect, release, and renew.

One-Day Retreat Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM | Arrivals & Welcome

  • 9:00 – 10:30 AM | Poolside Outdoor Energizing Yoga Flow + Meditation

  • 10:30 – 12:00 PM | Pool / Dance / Social Time (two private showers available for post-pool refresh)

  • 12:30 PM | Lunch Arrives – wholesome organic vegan eats from the local Chef Tanya’s Kitchen

  • 1:30 – 2:30 PM | Healing Sound Bath in the indoor studio

  • 2:30 – 3:30 PM | Intention Setting + Closing Circle

Optional Add-On: One to two guests may choose to stay overnight in our cozy guest room (full-size bed with optional floor mattresses).

This one-day retreat is designed for women of all backgrounds, body types, and yoga experience levels. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned yogi, you’ll feel supported and welcomed.

Not at all! Our flow is beginner-friendly and includes modifications so you can move at your own pace. Come as you are.

We recommend comfortable, breathable clothing for yoga outdoors (shorts/lightweight activewear recommended) and swimwear if you’d like to join in for pool time. Prepare for it to be warm outside! Bring layers and a possible change of clothes to get cozy for our sound bath. 

Lunch is catered by Chef Tanya’s Kitchen and is fully plant-based vegan and primarily gluten-free. If you have additional dietary needs, email us in advance—we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

You are more than welcome to come solo! Many of our attendees do, and we create an environment that’s friendly, connected, and zero-pressure. You might even leave with new friends!
